We’re very excited to be able to offer Hannah’s cards as part of our range, as her designs are at the heart of our brand. I fell in love with Hannah’s work after buying one of her prints at a craft fair, and I was so excited when she agreed to take on the challenge of designing our packaging. She met me very early in the process, and those conversations over lattes resulted in our gorgeous logo and all our soap and hand cream packaging designs.
What I love about Hannah is that her illustrations often feature scenes that are inspired by Gower’s beautiful landcapes and beaches. She hand draws in ink and experiments with watercolours, inks, paints and paper. For this card, Hannah was inspired by the iconic Mumbles Bay. Hannah has included its historic tram – no longer operating but which has the distinction of being the world’s first passenger horsecar. Nowadays you can walk along the prom, keeping a look out for interesting wildlife, sample a Joe’s ice cream, go shopping in one of the many independent shops, or enjoy food and drinks from one of the dozens of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The perfect card to commemorate and celebrate a visit to Mumbles.
