Clear away the winter blues with this month’s instalment in our lavender recipes series, for a soothing and mellow blue lavender latte made with butterfly pea flowers, our own Lavender Syrup and a hint of vanilla.
Ingredients
2 tsp Gower Lavender Syrup
½ tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp butterfly pea flowers
200ml milk of your choice
Method
1. Boil 100ml of water and steep the flowers for a couple of minutes until you have a blue liquid.
2. Meanwhile, steam or heat your milk.
3. Strain the flowers out of the water and combine the blue water, vanilla and lavender syrup in a mug or glass. Relax and enjoy!
