If you’re looking for a classy Christmas gift then look no further – a unique, handmade soap dish and a beautiful Christmas soap. We’ve added a luxurious gold edge to our signature purple ceramic soap dishes, and they are tailor-made to fit our Christmas lavender soaps.
The dishes come in two sizes: large (square) and small (oval). The square dishes are sized perfectly for our larger, 85g soap bars, while the ovals are the ideal fit for our smaller, holiday size soaps.
Each dish has been specially handmade for Gower Lavender by artisan ceramicist Sophie Learmont of Starling Pots, and feature pressed lavender designs made with our very own lavender.
Sophie makes her dishes at the Clay Loft, an open access ceramic studio based just outside Nailsworth near Stroud. She handshapes each dish so no two are identical, ideal for small-scale, sustainable production like ours – and, more importantly, giving each piece a unique tactile quality.
The dishes come with a draining hole to ensure your lavender soaps are able to dry out between uses.
The set comes packaged hand-tied in twine, nestled in a recyclable box with shredded paper. The dishes fit the whole range of Gower Lavender soaps so if you’d rather substitute for your favourite kind of soap, simply tell us at the checkout, or choose your dish and soap separately.
